Hegemon is a publication dedicated to understanding how economic power is reshaping international affairs. It examines the growing use of trade, finance, technology, industrial policy, sanctions, energy, infrastructure and other economic instruments as tools of statecraft, and what these shifts mean for governments, businesses and the global economy.
Published by the Helsinki Geoeconomics Society, Hegemon brings together analysis from scholars, practitioners and emerging voices working across international political economy, economics, finance and strategic affairs. Our mission is to make the forces shaping the geoeconomic order clearer, more accessible and more consequential.
